Kids Bedroom Decor Sales

It's hard to even think that it's back to school time already. And here's a double edged sword.

There are sales going on everywhere not just for school supplies and kids clothes, but for kids' bedroom decor too. Problem is, money is tight cuz you've got to buy school supplies and kids clothes. It's usually the same problem at Christmas.

But if you can manage to squeeze out some extra money right now, the savings are worth it. If not now, then start making plans to save money to spend on your kid's room during Christmas sales. Check out the Decorating Discount Outlets page for some places to shop the sales and clearance online.

Window Treatments & Area Rugs

Dorm Decorating

It seems like summer just got here, and it's already time to be thinking of decorating that dorm room at college. Three things come to mind when thinking of moving into the dorm, besides being away from Mom & Dad and sort of on your own ;^).

1. Organizing your space: It seems like you always tend to bring more than you have room for.
2. Color and Decor: How bland is your dorm room, and what are you allowed to do about it? Is it prison or hospital green, gray or a dull shade of blue?
3. Study space: Where in your tight living quarters are you going to find a place to study, and store your computer and books etc.

If you've got more time than money, get plain storage containers and "Chic Them Up A Notch" with Contact Paper, Paint, Stickers, Wallpaper, or decoupage stuff you tore out of a magazine, even some glue and glitter!

If there are concerns about what belongs to whom, put your name on everything with a permanent marker or label maker.

Use Command hooks to hang stuff on the walls including fabric or plastic pocket type storage. Get the hanging type pocket storage that goes over the door or in the closet, and don't forget under-bed storage.
